Team spirit, cohesion and strong cooperation are values that are actively practiced at SOMMER not only in everyday working life, but also beyond the workplace. This was once again clearly visible during this year’s Döhlau Sports Week, where the annual company football tournament took place – for the first time under its new name, the Alexander Kauper Cup. With two teams – Office and Production – SOMMER competed against other regional companies. After taking home the title last year, we finished this time with a strong second place (Office) and fourth place (Production) in exciting and fair matches.
What was particularly nice was that all employees were invited - whether as active players or as fans on the sidelines. Many colleagues took the opportunity to loudly support our teams and enjoy a sporting afternoon together. Food and drink vouchers were provided - and the atmosphere was great all round.
We would like to thank everyone who took part and made this day a real SOMMER moment.
